You've reached the definitive location for information regarding Boise's newest and most fabulous Pride event. Boise Queer Idol is a karaoke competition with an American Idol twist, complete with celebrity judges. Can you guess who will be Boise's Simon Cowell?

The top 5 competitors will go on to perform and compete in a final round on the festival stage at Ann Morrison Park Saturday, June 9, 2007.

There, the finalists will be chosen by our judges and the top competitor will be awarded $200.00 and the title of Boise Queer Idol 2007.

So, what are the judges looking for? Find out here.

1. Warm-up and prepare during the Balcony's karaoke night, Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 9-11pm. You can review available song selections, practice and register all at the same time.
   
   

2. Download and print both pages of the Boise Queer Idol ENTRY FORM and bring them with you to the first round of competition and register at our entry table.

   Please notice there are two worksheets in this file: one listed by artist and the other listed by song. Check the bottom left hand corner for sheet tabs.
   
   

3. Or, simply show up at 7:00pm the night of the first round and register at the entry table.
   
   A book of song selections will be available at the entry table.

Entries are limited to the first 30 unique entries and will be organized in the order by which they were received.
